NB’s Protection Pack is back once more. Officially titled the Refined Future pack, sneakerheads would soon decide to label the rough cut 2002s under the Protection Pack name. This latest NB 2002R Protection Pack “Brown Sand” iteration is the first to drop out of the trio, stacking together shades of brown in a tasteful fashion.

The “Brown” 2002R Protection Pack arrives with the same deconstructed design that made the original pairs a standout, but this time, it leans into earthy tones for a look that slots in perfectly into the 2025 release calendar. The upper layers frayed edges and rough-cut panelling across premium suede and breathable mesh, creating a raw, unfinished feel that only adds to its charm.

Shades of mocha, chocolate, and caramel blend seamlessly, while sail laces contrast against the distressed backdrop. Underfoot, a dark chocolate midsole packs ABZORB and N-ERGY cushioning, keeping comfort at the forefront despite the rugged look.
